Tarihî Türk-İslam Yürüyüşü

Tarih, Türkleri İslam ruhundan ayırarak Türk kimliğini parçalamayı ve böylece hem Müslümanlığı ve hem de Türkleri zayıflatmayı gaye edinen çok sayıda girişimlere sahne olmuştur. Ne var ki, İslami inanç ve ahlak sistemi ile yoğrulmuş Türk- İslam milliyetçiliği, ayrılmaz bir bütündür ve insanlık tarihini şekillendiren Türkleri ruhundan ayırmak, yani İslamsızlaştırmak hiçbir şekilde mümkün olamamıştır. Nitekim Fransız şair Lamartine’nin: “Türk’ün (Müslüman’ın) fazileti; ilahi iradeye dâimâ boyun eğmesindedir. … Her şeyi tabiattan çıkardıktan sonra, Allah’a döndürür. Dâimâ, Allah, onun fikrinde ve zikrindedir. Kısır bir fikir şeklinde değil, âdetâ elle tutulabilecek, açık, belli biçimde ve amelî bir hakikattir.” şeklindeki sözleri de Türkün Müslümanlığının Batılılar tarafından itirafından başka bir anlam ifade etmemektedir.
Türklerle Arapların 8. yüzyılda gerçekleşen tarihî buluşması, İslam’ın geleceği için bir dönüm noktası olmuştur. Öyle ki, aynı anda doğuya doğru ilerleyen Araplarla, batı yönünde hareket eden Türkler, ters istikamette esen iki sert rüzgârın birbirleri ile karşılaşması misali çarpışmışlar ve bu çarpışma neticesinde İslamiyet Türklere bir din ve uygarlık, Türkler de bu dine güçlü ordularını vermişlerdir.
Binlerce yıllık medeniyet tarihine sahip olan Türkler, kendi inanç ve yaşayışlarına zaten çok yakın olan Müslümanlığı kitleler hâlinde kabul etmelerinin ardından, asırlar boyunca İslamiyet’in en güçlü savunucusu olmuşlar, onbirinci yüzyılda başlayıp yüzyıllarca süren Hristiyan haçlı saldırılarına karşı da göğüslerini siper etmekten geri kalmayarak, kurdukları Türk- İslam medeniyetini günümüze kadar taşımayı başarmışlardır. Bu yüzdendir ki, İslam âleminde, Türk milletine “Seyf-ül İslam” adı verilmiştir.

Bir yandan İslam’ın kılıcı ve kalkanı olarak önemli hizmetler veren Türkler, bir yandan da tarih boyunca kurdukları imparatorluklarda, egemenlikleri altına aldıkları halklara din ve vicdan özgürlüğü tanıyarak, bunların birlikte, barış içinde yaşamalarını temin etmiş ve evrensel barışa büyük katkılar sağlamışlardır. Binlerce yıllık tarihi boyunca dünyada adaleti hâkim kılmak arzusuyla hareket eden Türkler, bir nevi bütün insanlığın sorumluluğunu üzerinde taşımıştır. Nitekim, Osmanlı Devleti’nin “Nizam-ı Âlem” davası, üç kıta üzerindeki farklı dinlere mensup kavim ve sınıflar arasında hukuki ve içtimai adaleti sağlayarak bir düzen içinde yaşamalarını gaye edinmiştir.
Tarih sayfalarını, İslam adına verdikleri hizmetler ve kahramanlıklarla dolduran Türklerin, aynı zamanda Müslümanlığın yayılmasına da en büyük katkıyı sağlayan, İslam’a en güzel eserleri bırakan ve İslam uygarlığını zirveye çıkaran bir milletin mensubu oldukları unutulmamalıdır. Öyle ki, bilhassa Selçuklular döneminde kendi kültürlerini İslam dünyasıyla buluşturan Türkler, nihayet İslam medeniyetini Türk- İslam medeniyetine dönüştürmüş ve böylece İslam dünyası ve medeniyetine, merhum Prof. Dr. Osman Turan’ın ifadesiyle yeni bir aşı ve hayatiyet kazandırmıştır.
Türkler, Müslüman olmaları sayesinde birliğe kavuşmuş ve eriyip yok olmaktan kurtulmuşlardır. Bugün yeryüzünde Müslüman olmayan Türk olmadığı gibi, Müslüman olduktan sonra millî şuurunu kaybedip tarihte yok olan bir Türk Topluluğu da olmamıştır. Diğer taraftan, İslam âlemi de Türklerin katılımıyla taze bir kan ve can bulmuş, Türkler İslam’ı kendileri için bir millî din hâline getirerek, bütün benlik ve samimiyetleriyle bu dine sarılmışlardır. Merhum Prof. Dr. Erol Güngör’ün ifadesiyle İslam, âdeta Türk milletinin yolunu aydınlatan bir ışık olmuş, Türk milleti bu ışığı takip ettikçe hep yükselmiştir.

Zira İslamiyet’i kabul etmelerinden itibaren Türkler, Müslüman kimliklerini hep ön plana çıkarmışlar ve hep bu isimle anılmışlardır. Nitekim, bir Türk- İslam devleti olan Osmanlı İmparatorluğu’nun hükümdarları kendilerini aynı zamanda İslam’ın mücahidi ve İslam toplumlarının temsilcisi olarak görmüşlerdir. İşte bu yüzdendir ki, günümüzde Türkiye’yi Avrupa Birliği dışında bırakma gayretleri, esasen, Avrupalıların, Türkleri daima Müslüman olarak algılamış olmalarından mütevellit bir tavırdan başka bir şey değildir.
Kısaca bir kültür ve kimlik duyarlılığı olarak nitelendirebileceğimiz milliyetçilik düşüncesi, tarih boyunca Türklerin en ziyade hassasiyetlerinin başında yer almıştır. Zira 1.300 yıl önce, Göktürk alfabesiyle Orhun Kitabelerine kazınan Türk kültürü ve kimliği, Yusuf Has Hacib’in 1069 tarihli, Türk-İslam edebiyatının ilk yazılı eseri sayılan Kutadgu Bilig adlı eserinde, İslami düşünce ve bakış açısıyla yeniden vücud bulmuştur.

Anadolu topraklarını Müslüman Türk’e yurt yapan Büyük Selçuklu Sultanı Alp Arslan, 26 Ağustos 1071’de, Malazgirt Meydanı’nda ordusuyla birlikte kıldığı cuma namazını müteakip, askerlerine dönerek “Ey mücahitler! Düşman ne kadar çok görünürse görünsün! Biz onlardan daha güçlüyüz. Çünkü biz Allah’a inanıyoruz…” dedikten sonra, atından inip toprak üzerinde secde ederek şöyle dua etmiştir; “Ya Rabbi! Sana tevekkül ettim. Hazreti Peygamberimiz aşkına bize yardım et! Fikrimizle fiilimiz bir değilse bizi helak et!”. Böylece, Alp Arslan’ın imanlı ordusu, sayıca kendisinden kat kat fazla olan Bizans ordusunu Malazgirt Meydanı’nda hezimete uğratarak, Türk-İslam tarihinin en büyük zaferlerinden birisini kayda geçirmeyi başarmıştır.
Osmanlı Devleti’nin ikinci Padişahı Orhan Gazi, Oğul’a Nasihat’ında, “Unutma ki, dünya saltanatı geçicidir. Lakin büyük bir fırsattır. Allah yolunda hizmet ve Peygamberimiz aleyhisselamın şefaatine mazhariyet için, bu fırsatı iyi değerlendir!..” demiştir. Bu düşünce tarzı, Türk kültürü ve İslam kültürü ile yoğrulmuş Osmanlı Devleti’nin, altı asır boyunca nasıl barış ve birlikte yaşama felsefesiyle hüküm sürebildiği sorusuna verilebilecek en açık cevaptır.
Cihan Padişahı Fatih Sultan Mehmet Han, İstanbul’un fethini, sadece stratejik önemi sebebiyle değil, ama daha ziyade, Peygamberimiz Hazreti Muhammed’in (S.A.V.) “İstanbul elbet fetholunacaktır. Onu fetheden kumandan ne güzel kumandan, onu fetheden asker ne güzel askerdir.” hadis-i şerifine mazhar olmak ve onun övgülerini kazanmak için gerçekleştirmiştir. İşte bu, çağ açıp, çağ kapatan Müslüman-Türk kumandan, İstanbul’u fethederken, onu bir Türk-İslam şehrine dönüştürmekle kalmamış, aynı zamanda, yüzyıllarca İslam toplumları arasına fitne sokan, Müslümanlara karşı Hristiyan haçlı seferleri tertipleyen ve İslam topraklarının genişlemesine engel teşkil eden bir şer yuvasını, Doğu Roma İmparatorluğu’nu da ortadan kaldırmıştır.
Şair Namık Kemal Yalçın Kaya’nın da ifade ettiği gibi;

Aranmakta Peygamber müjdesine bir emir, bir namzed

Kostantiniyyeyi İstanbul yapacak bir fatih; Sultan İkinci Mehmed.

Sıvadı kolları Osmanoğlu cihangir, çekerek besmeleyi

Ebedi fethin hazırlığına girişti, eserken seher yeli.

Döktü şahi topları, çelikten iman ordusu; ne güzel er

Böyle buyurmuştu Rasul; ve göklerde saf saf melekler.

İstanbul, dünyanın en güzel şehri, bizim İstanbul,

Büyük fethin timsali, kıyamete kadar Türk İstanbul.

Esasen Osmanlı, İslamiyet’in insanlığa vaat ettiği ideal barış ve istikrarı, himayesi altındaki topluluklar arasında hiçbir etnik, dinî ve kültürel ayırım gözetmeksizin yedi iklim ve üç kıtada asırlar boyunca gerçekleştirmeyi başarmıştır. Zira, İslamiyet’te hiçbir ırka, sınıfa, aileye veya kişiye imtiyaz tanınmamış olup, sadece İslâma hizmet eden ve İslâmı yücelten takva sahibi kimseler üstünlük elde edebileceklerdir. İşte Osmanlı bu bilinçle hareket ederek bir dünya devleti inşa etmeyi başarabilmiştir.

Öte yandan, Çanakkale’de göğsünü siper ederek düşmana geçit vermeyen Mehmetçiğin meşalesi de kuşkusuz iman aşkı ve vatan sevgisiydi. Şanlı Türk tarihini taçlandıran en büyük zaferlerden birisi olan Çanakkale Destanı, iman ve kardeşlik ruhunun şahlanışından başka bir şey değildi. Bir yandan Kur’an okuyup biryandan düşmanla savaşan Türk Askerinin, 3 dakika içinde öleceğini bildiği halde hiç tereddüt etmeden cepheye atılmasını sağlayan bu ruh, din, vatan, bayrak uğruna şehadetin, ulaşılabilecek en yüce makam olduğunu birkez daha ortaya koymuştur. Milli Şairimiz Mehmet Akif Ersoy, Çanakkale şehitlerini ne güzel tarif etmiştir;

Vurulmuş tertemiz alnından, uzanmış yatıyor,

Bir hilâl uğruna, yâ Rab, ne güneşler batıyor!

Ey, bu topraklar için toprağa düşmüş, asker!

Gökten ecdâd inerek öpse o pâk alnı değer.

…

Sen ki, İslam’ı kuşatmış, boğuyorken hüsran,

O demir çenberi göğsünde kırıp parçaladın;

Yine, büyük Türk Şairi Ziya Gökalp, bundan yüzyıl önce, Balkan Savaşları sırasında Vatanın ve Milletin içine düştüğü durumu gösteren Asker Duası’nda şöyle demektedir;

Sancağım tevhid, bayrağım hilâl,

Birisi yeşil, ötekisi al,

İslâm’a acı, düşmandan öc al,

İslâm’ı âbâd eyle Yârabbi!

Düşmanı berbâd eyle Yârabbi!

Bu noktada, Türklerin tarih boyunca İslâm’a hizmetleri konusunda Kurtuluş Savaşı ve bu savaşın İslâm’a kazandırdıkları üzerinde de durulmalıdır.

Millî ve manevi bilincini aynen muhafaza eden Türkler, Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK’ün önderliğinde ve vatan, millet, bayrak sevgisi ile yoğrulmuş bir imanla İstiklâl Mücadelesini kazanıp Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’nin temellerini atmak suretiyle, Millî onurunu muhafaza etmiş ve bu cennet vatan topraklarında kurdukları bin yıllık Türk-İslâm medeniyetini sonsuza kadar yaşatma kararlılığını bir kez daha ortaya koymuşlardır. Nitekim Yahya Kemal, Kurtuluş Mücadelesini şu şekilde dile getirmiştir;

Şu kopan fırtına Türk ordusudur Ya Rabbi,

Senin uğrunda ölen ordu budur Ya Rabbi.

Ta ki yükselsin ezanlarla müeyyed namın

Galip et çünkü bu son ordusudur İslâm’ın.

Mehmet Akif Ersoy da, İstiklal Marşı’nda, Türk Milletinin Hakk’a, bayrağa, bağımsızlığa, dinine ve vatanına olan bağlılığını en açık bir şekilde dile getirmiştir:

Dalgalan sen de şafaklar gibi ey şanlı hilâl!

Olsun artık dökülen kanlarımın hepsi helâl.

Ebediyyen sana yok, ırkıma yok izmihlâl;

Hakkıdır, hür yaşamış, bayrağımın hürriyet,

Hakkıdır, Hakk’a tapan milletimin istiklâl!

Günümüzde çarpıtılan şekliyle ırkçılığı değil, kültürü esas alan Türk Milliyetçiliği, binlerce yıllık tarihi, siyasi ve kültürel bir birikime dayanmaktadır. Türk Milletinin tarihin derinliklerinden süzülerek günümüze ulaşan maddi-manevi, kültürel-ahlaki değerlerini koruyarak gelecek kuşaklara aktarmak, bir Türk Milliyetçisinin asli vazifesi olmalıdır. Türk Ocakları Genel Başkanı Prof. Dr. Mehmet Öz’ün ifadesiyle, bizim millet, millî devlet anlayışımız tarihimize, milletimize bir bütün olarak sahip çıkmaya dayanır. İçi boş, tarihî ve kültürel muhtevası Türklüğün tarihî birikimini inkâr eden bir anlayış da tarihî ve kültürel realitelere aykırı olarak Türklüğü bir etnisiteye indirgeyen, milliyetçiliği kavmiyetçilik ve ırkçılık olarak görerek reddeden beynelmilelci yaklaşımlar da yanlıştır. İslam medeniyetinin tarihî gelişimini ve Türk-İslam medeniyeti gerçeğini ıskalayan, 20. yüzyılın nev-zuhur ve ithal İslamcılığı ne Türklüğe ne İslam âlemine ne de insaniyete kapsayıcı bir medeniyet tasavvuru sunabilir.

Ortak bir dile ve ortak bir tarihe sahip insanların milli kimlik ve kültür şuuruyla kendini ifade etmesi olarak tanımlayabileceğimiz bu milliyetçilik anlayışı mesela, Fransız düşmanlığından beslenen Alman milliyetçiliğinden tamamen farklı olarak, diğer milletlerin varlığına saygı duyan, cihanşümul bir karakteristiği haizdir. Türk-İslâm Padişahı Kanuni Sultan Süleyman’nın da Avrupalı elçilere söylediği gibi, Türk fetihleri aslında, Hristiyan dünyasının amansız saldırıları karşısında verilen bir nefsi müdafaa, bir varlık-yokluk mücadelesi sebebiyle gelişmiştir. Kuşkusuz Türkler, tarih boyunca hem batı medeniyetinin sömürgecilik faaliyetleri karşısındaki en ciddi direnek noktası olmayı başarmışlar ve hem de hakimiyetleri altındaki halklara adaletle hükmetmişlerdir.

Türk Milliyetçiliği sevgiyi, kardeşliği ve hoşgörüyü esas alan kucaklayıcı ve birleştirici bir anlayışa sahiptir. Nitekim, bundan doksan yıl önce, Türkçülerin amacının, çağdaş bir İslam Türklüğü olduğunu söyleyen Ziya Gökalp, Türklerin, milli ülkülerini güçlendirmek için dindaşları ve yurttaşları olan hiçbir kavme karşı “millî kin” aşılamaya yeltenmediklerini, çağdaşlaşmak için, Müslüman olmayan kavimler hakkında, içinde bulunulan uygarlık yüzyılının gerektirdiği saygılı tutumu koruyacaklarını özellikle vurgulamıştır.

Nitekim, Yüce dînimiz İslama göre insanlar, Cenab-ı Hak tarafından, kabilelere ve milletlere bölünmüştür. Dolayısıyla, Müslümanların Arablar veya Türkler gibi milletler halinde bölünmeleri, insanların birbirlerini tanımaları gayesiyledir. Ancak, bu milletler arasında üstünlüğün sadece güzel ahlâk ve takvâ sahibi olmakla mümkün olabileceği de Kur’ân’da belirtilmiştir. Nitekim, Kur’ân-ı Kerîm’in Hucurât Sûresi’nin 13. Ayetinde Yüce Allah “Ey insanlar ! Doğrusu biz sizleri bir erkekle bir dişiden yarattık. Sizi milletler ve kabileler haline koyduk ki birbirinizi kolayca tanıyasınız. Şüphesiz, Allah katında en değerliniz, O’na karşı gelmekten en çok sakınanızdır. Allah bilendir, haberdardır.” demektedir. Buna göre, Türkler, Allah’ın insanlar arasından oluşturduğu milletlerden bir tanesidir ve üstünlüğü soydan değil, İslâm adına verdiği hizmetler ve yaptığı iyi işlerden kaynaklanmaktadır.

Büyük Türk Hükümdârı Yavuz Sultan Selim, Mısır’ı fethedip İslâm Halifeliğini Abbasilerden teslim alırken, Cuma namazında okunan hutbede kendisi için “Hâkim-i Haremeyni’ş-Şerîfeyn” (Mekke ve Medine’nin Hâkimi) diye bahsedilmesine itiraz etmiş ve Peygamber’e saygısından dolayı kıpkırmızı kesilen Koca Pâdişah, ayağa kalkarak, “Hayır, Hâdim-i Haremeyni’ş-Şerîfeyn” (Mekke ve Medine’nin Hizmetkârı) diye haykırmıştır. İşte Türkler bu anlayışla, 400 yıl boyunca İslâm Halifesi sıfatıyla, İslâmda birlik ve beraberliği temsil etmişlerdir.

Derin bir mütevazılıkla İslâma verdiği ve vereceği hizmetler sayesinde Türk Milleti, tarih boyunca hep küllerinden yeniden doğmayı başarabilmiştir. Bunun son örneği, emperyalist Batılı güçlerin bitmek bilmez Haçlı saldırıları karşısında yorgun ve bitkin düşen Türk Milletinin, Gazi Mustafa Kemal önderliğinde verdiği İstiklâl Mücadelesi neticesinde, tarih sahnesinde “Türkiye Cumhuriyeti” adıyla yeni bir sayfa açmış olmasıdır.

Netice itibariyle, adalet, hoşgörü, millî birlik ve beraberlik anlayışı içerisinde ve diğer dünya milletleri ile birlikte barış içinde yaşamayı esas kabul eden Müslüman Türk Milleti, tarihte olduğu gibi bugün de İslam’a hizmet etmeye ve onunla birlikte yükselmeye devam edecektir. Bunu da, ancak, millî değerlerine ve tarihine sahip çıkmak suretiyle gerçekleştirebileceğinin idrakindedir. Zira, yurt, bayrak, millî egemenlik ve milli kültür gibi değerlerine sahip çıkamayan milletlerin, mukaddesatını muhafaza etmeleri de mümkün bulunmamaktadır. Tarih boyunca Türkler, hep Hakk’ın rızasını kazanma, yeryüzünde adaleti hakim kılma ve milletine hizmet etme anlayışı içerisinde, sevinçte ve tasada birlik şuuruyla hareket etmişlerdir. Bu sayededir ki Türkleri İslamsızlaştırma ve tarih sahnesinden silme çabaları nafile sonuç vermiştir.

Unutulmamalıdır ki Türkler, ancak millî birlik ve beraberlik duygusuyla ve derin bir iman aşkıyla Malazgirt’de, Kosova’da, İstanbul’un fethinde, Çanakkale’de, Sakarya’da başarıya ulaşabilmişlerdir. Bu nedenle, birbirleri ile buluşmalarından itibaren hızla gelişen ve tarihin gördüğü en yüksek uygarlık seviyesine ulaşan Türk-İslâm Medeniyetinin zengin kültürel mirasını daha ilerilere taşımak, Çanakkale ruhunu rehber edinmiş Türk Milletinin yegâne vazifesi olmaya devam edecektir.
